WIPO Director General Francis Gurry met on February 18, 2014 with CISAC President Jean Michel Jarre to discuss collaboration between the two organizations in promoting creators' rights. 

CISAC - the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers - represents 227 collective management organizations in 120 countries, covering the interests of over 3 million creators and rights holders. Jean Michel Jarre, a pioneer in electronic music with over 80 million album sales, is also a vociferous defender of creators rights.
